You Wilin' Son

This by far blows anything I've ever seen on MTV Cribs out the water. Nigo has made a fortune off his ever expanding Bathing Ape brand with its signature camouflage print and several other ventures. his entrepeneurial pursuits have kept him very busy but not so busy that he can't make time to indulge his wildest desires. Now he can afford car parks built into his living room and oddly enough one of the worlds largest Star Wars collections. Definitely my favourite nerdy Japanese street wear mogul.

The initial designs were set to be a prison and a hospital which eventually mutated into a concentration camp with shock therapy stations, gas ovens and mass grave sites. All the Jewish lego pieces were depicted as skeletons. According to a press release issued by the LEGO Group, “If he had described his ultimate project to us in advance, he naturally would not have received a single LEGO element from us!”. These never hit shelves but it was rumoured that they fetched up to $7000 at private auctions. Disturbing...

Today's Inspiration: DIY Pop-Up Books

Just some cut out covers of old pulp novels but I really like the effect. Some of the action shots really come to life.
